Since more than 50 year the name ITB stands for worldwide industry knowledge, 365 days of the year, networking, and trendsetting events whether they are virtual, in person, or hybrid formats.
ITB Berlin, the largest travel trade fair in the world, is held every year in March.
The B2B tradeshow and conference ITB Asia is the leading tradeshow for the entire Asian market. It takes place every year in Singapore in October, along with MICE Show Asia and Travel Tech Asia.
ITB China, a conference that focuses on China's B2B Travel Market, is held annually in May.
In April 2021 ITB India made its debut online. In April 2023, the B2B conference and trade show will be live in Mumbai. The focus is on the Indian and Southeast Asian market.
In 1966, ITB first opened its doors in Berlin. Nine exhibitors from five different countries, including Egypt, Brazil and the Federal Republic of Germany presented their products and service. Around 10.00 exhibitors, from 181 different countries, showcased their products and services to 160.000 visitors in 2019. Of these, 113.500 of them were trade visitors. What a ride!
