The Warley Model Railway Club and the Statfold Narrow Gauge Museum Trust Ltd have teamed up to host a new showcase event for railway modeling at the Trust’s Statfold Country Park near Tamworth in Staffordshire.

The event, branded as Warley at Statfold, is scheduled for the weekend 12-13 October 2024. Tickets include a new model railway exhibition with a fresh look, access to the Museum’s locomotives and stock collection, unlimited rides on both 2' and 12-1/2" gauge railways, and countless children's theme attractions.

The Warley MRC will host the exhibition, which will feature up to 30 high-quality layouts in a range of gauges and scales. There will also be a selection of retail trade stands from manufacturers and retailers. The Warley MRC is also preparing a new programme of model demonstrations that will reflect today's evolving techniques, technologies, and demographics.

Statfold is home to the largest collection of narrow gauge locomotives, which can be viewed in the adjacent museum or on the outdoor railway circuits, where you can get on and off the trains in a beautiful park setting.

This new and exciting venture is not simply the Warley National Model Railway Show.

The club and its associated charity must move forward in the dynamic of this ever-popular sport.
